Seeding Machine Troubleshooting Tips

　　1. The overall seed metering device does not meter seeds. The reasons are: the seedbox lacks seeds, the transmission mechanism does not work, and the drive wheel does not rotate due to slippage. The seeds should be filled up, and the transmission mechanism should be overhauled and adjusted to eliminate the factor of driving wheel slippage.

　　2, the single seed metering device does not meter. The reasons are: the seeding wheel clamp and the key pin are loose and rotating, and the seed tube or seed port is blocked. The seed metering wheel should be re-fastened, and the blockage in the seed delivery or seeding port should be removed.

　　3. The seeding rate is uneven. The reasons are: the operating speed changes greatly, the scraper tongue is severely worn, the outer groove wheel clamp is loose, and the working range changes. Work at a constant speed, replace the scraper tongue, adjust the working length of the outer sheave, and fix the clamp.

　　4. High seed crushing rate. The reasons are: the operating speed is too fast, which makes the transmission speed high; the seeding device is damaged; the size and shape of the seeding wheel are not suitable; the scraping tongue is too close to the seeding wheel. Reduce the speed and work at a constant speed, replace the metering device, use a suitable metering wheel (disk), and adjust the distance between the seed scraper tongue and the metering wheel.

　　5. The seeding depth is not enough. The reasons are insufficient spring pressure in the opener; deformation of the opener rod makes the angle of entry into the soil smaller. The spring should be tightened to increase the opener pressure; the opener rod should be corrected to increase the soil angle.

　　6. The opener is blocked. The reasons are: the seeding machine fell too hard and the soil was too wet. Stop to clear the blockage, pay attention to suitable moisture for sowing, and prohibit backing during operation.

　　7. Lax soil covering. The reasons are: the angle of the cover plate is incorrect, the spring pressure on the opener is insufficient, and the soil is too hard. Correctly adjust the angle of the cover plate, adjust the spring to increase the pressure on the opener, and increase the counterweight of the seeding machine.
